Famous TV Houses

Hi All,
Good to see you again!  I haven't been posting much, just busy with the new Grand baby, etc.  Anyway, I do love the old TV shows, as you know, and the wonderful houses of those shows.  One of my favorites is the Bewitched house of the 60's.  Very Early American in style, which I love, too!  Enjoy!

What a great house!

That great front door, just like my parent's house :)
The focal point of the living room.  Brick fireplace with built in book cases.

I bet Darrin is just loving his Mother In Law hanging around???
The great old Flair is the focal point in the kitchen.  I have a 1965 model in my kitchen!
Samantha putting the Flair to good use!
Wonderful Early American staircase.  Never mind the penguin, lol!

Close up of that great old workhorse of a stove!

Hope you enjoyed my little tribute to the Bewitched house!

Wife Vs Secretary

As I sit here on a Sunday morning watching this great old movie, thought I would just post about it.
Simple plot. Gable is married to Myrna Loy and his secretary is Jean Harlow. Trouble!

The film was made in 1936
Look at this yummy city apartment!
Nice shot of the filming of a scene

Neat olden book of the movie

Candid on the lot, during filming.
Sadly, Jean Harlow died one year later of renal failure at age 26.
Clark was just starting his relationship with Carole Lombard.
Myrna Loy was also in the midst of making all the Thin Man movies.  They are so wonderful!
Of course, the movie ends up all "happily ever after!"

Miss Garbo

Hi All,
I came to know about Greta Garbo(1905-1990) when I was around 18 and I have been hooked ever since.  So beautiful and intriguing.  I love her silent films best.  She retired and moved to NYC when she was only 37.  Please enjoy my photo tribute to Greta Garbo...
